Progress...Yea!

The drive and parking lot are now done. The interior is coming along. FRP (Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic: the bumpy plastic stuff that is on commercial kitchen walls) was installed today. The cabinets, lights and carpet are all here but not installed yet. The fireplace will be finished this week and ready for paint and I am getting a bid on awnings for the front windows and the drive through window. Some equipment is here already but most of it will be arriving late this week or early next week so I'm hoping the kitchen is ready for it when it gets here. So far, I've hired about 10 interns and am excited about getting them trained and ready to go. I've dealt with equipment suppliers, the Health Department, food suppliers, flooring suppliers, painters, plumbers, electricians, concrete workers, masons, carpenters and a host of other issues in the last few months. As they say down south, I've been busier than a one-legged man in a butt-kicking contest. But, its all good. I believe we will be open when we are supposed to be open and that in the end we will be all that we are supposed to be.

Yes, a lot has happened. And yes, there is a lot yet to be done. But its all good.
