Progress

For the last few week, Stark Construction of Bloomington has been trying to finish our parking lot. But every time the ground got dry and they were about ready to pour concrete, the clouds would open and the skies would cry big tears and the construction would stop.

Well, yesterday, they finally got a little bit done...yea! They would have gotten more done if it had not decided to rain at mid-day. As soon as the parking lot is done, we can get back to work in the building putting in flooring, cabinets, trim and such and get this show on the road.

Progress

The building is really coming along now. Over the last 2 weeks or so, the walls were all framed, drywalled and painted. This week, the furnace and heat ducts were installed. The electrical and plumbing is all roughed in. And next week we will be ready for the flooring and trim. We should be ready to open sometime mid-June if everything goes well and the parking lot gets completed.
